The World of The Playboy Mansion

Now that I have your attention....
These girls, "Playboy Bunnies" - OMG can you imagine being one of them? They seriously live in such a different world!
I heard an interview thismorning with Bridget and Holly (two of Hef's main girlfriends at the moment, he has three main girls). These girls live with Hef in his mansion and Holly, his number one girlfriend shares a room with him. Bridget said they "Love doing things together all the time" I'll leave those 'things' up to your imagination.....There are 5 major parties that a thrown every year in the mansion, then the other parties thrown are usually charities hiring the Mansion as a venue and for when they have friends round. I also read an article that Hef pays for everything and anything these women desire. Anything from buying them clothes, boob jobs, face lifts, to getting a bikini wax, you name it he covers it, so they look hot ALL THE TIME.
No expense is spared for Hef's 5-times-a-year parties, with the themes, all the food, alcohol and drugs that anyone could ever wish for! Not to mention the other "Playmates" (who live in houses across the road from the mansion).
What posseses girls to want to become one of these "Playmates" is beyond me. I mean I guess it's the higher archy of being a stripper or prostitute only ALOT more $$$ involved. But umm how is that appealing anyway? Hef celebrated his 70th birthday recently and seems to still be high on life!

Shopped Til I dropped

Ok so you know how I was going shopping with The Twinnies on the weekend? Well, it was a total success! I found SO many cool things and spent SO much money which I have now realised wasn't exactly money that I had! Oh well what's a girl's life without a shopping splurge every blue moon?
But the day was SO exhausting I literally got home and wanted to pass out! Starting at Surry Hills and looking at all the cool vintage shops, we then headed to Paddy's Markets where I went crazy and bought straight long hair extensions (think Marsha Brady). I was falling in love with so many things and so easily could have spent so much more money. I'm still thinking about these knee-high white vintage boots (so hot) and white, splarkly hoop earrings (sound tacky but are so not!).
Then I came to this really cool shop on Crown St, Cream, where I was just flicking through a clothes rack when I came across this amazing dress! I tried it on and was in love! $70, I bargained and got it for $50! I was so stoked! But alas still do not know who I am going as to The Twinnie's party. But I have an outfit thats' all that matters!

Bringing back the 80's!

Some friends of mine Mandy & Milli - Twinnies to be exact (sooo cool and sooo much fun!) are having a par-tay. Word on the street is that it's gonna be pretty huge - the biggest par-tay of the year! And it has a theme!! I mean what is a party without a theme these days anyway? 80's Rockstars!!
My boy and I have had endless conversations relating around this topic - who we're going to go as, what we're going to wear, what songs we're going to sing (it's Karaoke) - not to mention the convos I've had with the Twinnies (Mandy & Milli). I love dressing up and I've had some fun trying to figure out who I'm going to go as. There's a million bands/rockstars to choose from but I think I have decided on Blondie (pic included). I'm loving the white blonde locks with black re-growth, the red knee-high socks with heels - (totally in Sportsgirl ATM!!)10 inch above the knee dress and laid back -"I'm too cool to worry bout anything" tude. Yep I think I may have to pull this one off. We have a major shopping trip planned for this weekend hitting up Paddy's Markets, Grandma Takes a Trip (really looking forward to this one!) and pretty much every Vinnie's store from Brookvale to Bondi. We'll see what they have to offer us. I'll post some pics after the par-tay. Should be a night to remember!

Feeling The Love

It seems that today is going to be a really good day. Do you know how I know this? As I was walking to work I had my I-pod on shuffle and do you know how much it was loving me song after song, after song, after song were my faves ( I guess it helps that I recently uploaded my lastest and greatest tunes onto it). But today is one of those days that I can feel in the air how good a day it will be. Australia's Biggest Morning Tea (to raise money for The Cancer Council) is going on in a little under 10 minutes and I attempted to make pink cupcakes which I have to say looked devinely scrumptious when I was icing them at 11.30pm last night.
I propped my pride and joy into my bag this morning and was on my way to work. After carefully manouveriung them to work I got here and opened my bag only to see that the icing had melted and was kind just looking like a big old pink mess. Oh well my co-workers have said they look like they were made with love and you know what - they were! The love I feel for everyone who has ever had or will get cancer - raising funds today to support this very good cause I know I'll be eating my cupcake knowing that I have made a difference even in the tiniest way. Fling it away.. now!

OK here's the thing, The Vending Machine = My Worst Enemy. And would be yours too if you had to walk past it every single time you walked into the office, out of the office, to the toilet, to reception, to enter at the start of the day, to leave at the end of the day. Yes that's right the V. Machine is at the entry of my office. So annoying and so not cool. You see at my last HQ (GF)the vending machine was in the kitchen, I wasn't walking past it every 10 minutes, wasn't seeing it and even if I was seeing it I was getting my lunch ready or getting a tea - therefore distracting myself from this evil machine. And my old V. machine had 'healthy snacks' in it - nuts and sultanas (which I LOVED) not just chocolate & chips.
This machine has just got chocolate and chips. Then guess what, I was going about my usual routine yesterday of walking past the V. machine and thinking how anyone who goes near it will pack on 5 kilos just from looking at it and realise that low and behold there is a NEW chocolate bar. That's right a huge sign that pretty much knocked me out as I walked past it sucked me in and before I knew it I was asking one of my fellow work colleagues for change for $2. I assure you this NEVER happens and it was only because I was smacked in the face with this sign that I was even tempted. But let me tell you this new chocolate bar - 'Fling' is totally aimed at women like me who are sweet and innocent and don't usually give into such cravings. But really if you're a fan of Maltesers you'll love this (it's made by them). It's got that crunchy malt/nougat and fluffy chocolate centre with a really yummy choc coating. Really light and quite satisfying - but you didn't hear it from me - ok???

Nicole Richie "Dropped"

I had my doubts, but it seems that Miss Richie has lucked out in love again this time with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden.
I've heard mixed reports of why they have split up. One being that their two P.A's had been chatting and one of their PA's exposed some info that wasn't supposed to be exposed. Like for some reason one of the socialites had been doing 'something that they shouldn't have'. Whether this means that 'that something' was cheating or doing drugs - who knows! I am so intrigued by it all though. I mean Nicole has been engaged twice in the past 2 years!
Then this morning it was announced that Jessica Simpson and John Mayer have hit Splitsville! But she's going blonde again so that's all that really matters to me!
Anyways if anyone hears anything else about these two interesting couples keep me posted!

I'm not talking groupies here and I'm definitely not talking becoming a nanny, leave it to the imagination girls!

1. Your celeb crush. It has just been announced that they are coming out to OZ to do some concerts. Do you:
a) Get tickets to every, single concert they are having and even go to concerts interstate.
b) Pretend you work for a radio/TV station and go under cover and find out exactly where they are staying and what room number!
c)You do love this celeb but aren't gonna go all stalker on them!

2. You happen to see a celeb out on the town one night. You get up the courage and...
a) Strut your sexy/pilates style butt over there, batt your eyelids and say 'what's a sexy boy like you, doin in a place like this?'
b)Decide that this will require a bit more thought and a few more drinks.
c)Follow him round all night until his puclicist walks up to you and tells you to vacate the premises.

3. Your celeb boy has a book signing at a local bookstore. You just happen to walk by and decide to get in on the fun.
a) He seems to have taken a liking to you and straight away you feel like you are a magnet and are attracted to him like some unknown force. You can't take your eyes off him and him with you so you lean in and pash him! Random!
b) You don't seem to have as much luck as a) and he asks you your name, gives you his autograph and sweeps you away like a bit of dust under the rug.
c) You opt for the easy way out of this one and pick up one of his books, throw it at him and hope for the best. You're outta there like Paul Walker in The Fast & the Furious.

4. One of your friends has always gone on about this guy who she dated for like 5 minutes. He just happened to be a celebrity. He may be a presenter on The Great Outdoors. (we'll leave the rest to your imagination)
You're out one night and:
a)Happen to bump into him at one of your local hot-spots. You walk staright up to him and start babbling on about how you know his ex, blah, blah, blah. Only to have him start chatting back to you in Italian> Che? Whatever! NEXT!
b)You totally have faith in your mate but this guy just looks like a pimp. With half the place schmoozing him you're not about to take a crack at it.
c)Your freind spots him first and runs to the B-rooms - uh-oh. Time for you to rescue her!

5. It's your last chance. Your celeb crush is about to leave the country but not til he does a couple of radio/mag interviews first. You got this heads up from your mate who works at one. You:
a)Pretend to be your friend and turn up to their interview in your most sexiest attire. EVER.
b) You decided that if it was mean't to be, then it was and waltz into his hotel demanding to know where he is.
c) ooohh-aghhh-OH is all you can hear coming from his hotel room. Damn someone beat you to it!
