In the Red of the night.....

OK I know everyone's talking about it and everyone's seen it/saw it but WOW! That Lunar Eclipse last night was AMAZING! I'm not into the whole science of the world or anything but I was pretty impressed with the colour of the Moon last night.

Also I know you've probably noticed I've been giving advice to fellow blogger, Liv. if you need any advice on anything at all, then please send me your problemos. Any boy probs, friend probs, food probs, even parent probs, send them my way and I will try my best to give you the best advice I possibly can. And if they're a little tricky for me I can call in my expert friends to help you out too!

You can post your questions in my comments box on this blog or email me at:

Hope to hear from you soon,

Kath & Kim - entertainiment or just plain annoying?

What a warm Winter's day it is today!
With only 5 days left of Winter (including today) the countdown is on!
5 sleeps!!! til Spring!!
Doesn't time fly?

My boyfriend and I were watching Kath & Kim last night. I was sooo excited to come home and watch it after a rather busy weekend...and it was, well kinda boring. It's not that funny anymore...I was literally wetting myself on Christmas Day last year when I was watching the Christmas special with my fam. But this series....What a letdown!
The characters Trude and Prue are just a scream usually and last night they were alomost annoying. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Kath & Kim and some bits do still make me chuckle, but what's with this series? Is it the ad breaks that break up the funny-ness of it all? Is it Channel 7's influence? Can someone please explain?!?
Do you think Kath & Kim have lost their buzz?

Another subject I wanted to touch on for my fellow blogger Liv. You may remember a little while ago I wrote up a blog for her on Dating 101.
This is what she wrote to me today.
I broke up with the boy! *sniff sniff* I broke up with him because he was really horible to me and wanted to change me, but now everything is really awkward between us at school coz we hang out in the same group so now our friends have like split in half - half with me and half with him. Please help me, I don't know how to deal with the whole situation. I want to keep all my friends together, and and stop the whole of Year 10 from their endless gossiping about us!!
Please help me Bella!!
Love Liv

Liv!
The classic situation of what happens when you date boys in your grade...particularly at your school and it gets in the middle of your friendships. First of all girlfriend you need to forget about your so called 'friends' who have split away from you. True friends stick by you, no. Matter. What. No matter if you broke their fave heels or forgot their birthday. These things happen. But when a friend chooses someone else over you, you know they are not really your friends. I really don;t think you've anything to worry about babe. if you think about it they've actually done you a favour. You can stop putting effort into people who don't appreciate you for you. You deserve better than these 'friends' of yours. And that boy wanting to change you - what is that about? I thought guys were supposed to like you for you? You should never have to change for anybody (unless it's something like giving up smoking, or a bad habit).
Next time though I'd date someone out of school and boys who are older (not too much) by just 1 or 2 years are much more mature than annoying boys in your own grade.
Hope this helps,

My fave day of the week is here!!!

And I have some interesting new for you all! Mr Kyle Sandilands is moving to Los Angeles. His fiance Tamara Jaber has been living over there for quite some time now for her career. Kyle has actually been broadcasting from L.A a couple of times while Jackie is in Sydney and no one has known the difference. I know I haven't!
But good for him I was wondering how the hell their relationship was working when he's here and she's all the way over there. Just goes to show that no matter what love always conquers all!
But don't worry he'll still be hosting the other half of The Kyle & Jackie O Show from satellite and a studio in L.A. His move won't be til early next year.

Have a happy and beautiful weekend with your loved ones!

Some things to get you thinking...but not too much!

Time for a different type of blog today: True Facts....
Things that will make you think twice. And trust me they're true....

Ancient cultures, believed chocolate to be an aphrodisiac. Although this is not exactly true, chocolate does contain phenyl ethylamine which creates a chemical reaction in the brain similar to falling in love. Hhhmm must be where the old flowers & chocolate gesture came from...

Chocolate manufacturers currently use 40% of the world's almonds and 20% of the world's peanuts.

As of 2006, consumers spent more than $7,000,000 a year on chocolate related products. That's a hell of a alot of chocolate!

The blue whale is the largest animal in the world. The largest one to be recorded at the time of this blog was 110 foot in length and weighed over 150 tonnes! WHOA!!!!

A chameleon's tongue is twice the length of its body.

The top selling album of the 90's was Shania Twain's 'Come on Over'...personally I was NEVER a fan!

China has more English speakers than the USA.

35% of people who have had personal ads for romance are already married!

A cat's pee glows under black light - haha!

Here's one to try at home. Chewing gum while peeling/cutting onions stops you from crying.

There are only 12 letters in the Hawaiian alphabet. No wonder they don't have a worry over there!

And the last fact for today's blog,
I am officially boycotting Homebake this year. Hello, have you seen the line up? Ummm the highlight of the day is Paul Kelly. last year there was Silverchair, Eskimo Joe, Sneaky Sound System, And that's gotta say something? It's Day 3 of ticket sales and they still haven't sold out! That's right all Homebake tickets are still available. Not that you'd want to buy any! Just so you can get an idea of exactly what we're dealing with here; Last year tickets sold out in less than 4 hours.
Time to up your game Homebake People.
Maybe I could start an online petition? Get some good bands or we'll just not turn up! That will have to be just a whole other blog.
To check it out yourself go to

Let me know what you think of the line-up this year for Homebake and if they have really let you down.

Peace Out,
