The Winner of Big Brother 2007 is......?

Had Monday-itis til only just 5 minutes ago today. It's OK I am totally over it now and in Home-time mode! Yay, Only an hour! No matter how much you love your job (and I really do) Monday's just suck.

The words on everyone's lips tonight. For the past 100 days Big Brother has continued to entertain a small mixture of the Aussie population and tonight will be The Decider. The winner of $450,000!

Whether you're a Zach fan or an Aleisha fan, tonight's final eviction will leave us all gobsmacked. I originally had dibs on Zach taking the title but after reading the news websites I have a feeling it may be Aleisha?

Who do you think the winner of Big Brother 2007 will be?

Also look out for lovebirds Thomas and Susannah (two of the housemates from earlier in the series). Supposedly making everyone ill with their affection towards eachother during rehearsals for the BB reunion tonight!

Another added to The Countdown...HOMEBAKE '07!!!

To those of you reading this who are under 18 unfortunately will not be able to purchase tickets this year to Homebake. This year they have decided to crack down on letting under 18's attend an event where alcohol is served. I'm not too sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. As the majority (or at least alot of) the audience for Homebake is teens. I would be devo if I was a teen right now. I LIVE for music festivals!
For over 18's reading this the theme of this year's 'Bake has been confirmed The Ladies Domain based on the bands who will obviously be some Aussie girl bands. Already confirmed acts are:
Missy Higgins, Sarah Blasko, Cut Copy, Josh Pyke, Midnight Juggernauts, Paul Kelly, The Beautiful Girls, Angus & Julia Stone, Operator Please, Paul Dempsey and Ed Kuepper.

Acer Arena welcomes Marilyn to Oz

OK I have 3 words. Christina. Is. Amazing! Probably one of the most amazing concerts I have ever been to. Singing wise, dancing wise, costume wise - WOW what a show! I was in such awe of Christina, she is just so gorgeous and let it be known that she is 150% definitely pregnant. Her tiny body had a baby bump showing the world that yes, she is pregnant.

I personally have alot more respect for Christina now than I ever did before. Her vocal range is incredible. Reaching those higher notes in her loud and very strong voice was just beautiful! She gave a touching speech about how she has suffered from domestic violence and was a voice to her fans aiding anyone who was/is having a hard time in their life. It was nice to see her give so much empathy to the audience, she's a great role model. Not super thin, she's got her act together and she's not part of the typical Hollywood brat pack that alot of us do (let's face it) aspire to be like or at least are a bit fascinated by.

One of the lucky guys in the audience pretty much got a personal lap dance from the Genie in a bottle star. Which would have made his dreams for the next ten years!

Not getting into alot of dancing herself (but definitely making up for it by strutting round the stage) her dancers were obviously 8 of the best in the world. Backflips, trapeze artists and ballet were only a few of the moves they did with such ease! Kind of made me want to be one of those dancers! How cool would it be to tour the world with Christina?!

But have a look at the pics. They speak for themselves. She truly is a great entertainer and I hope to see her many more transformations!

Getting back into it and feeling good...

As most of you know job-swapping of late has left me quite tired, unmotivated and completely out of energy. Alot of emo-ness went into my last job, not to mention the hour and 3/4's it took me to get there and back each day. It's time to get back into my exercise routine (as it totally went out the door) and get back into shape for summer.

I am lucky enough to have a Fitness First just down the road from me so I have been getting to know it very well in my last couple of lunchtimes. On Friday I did a very needed spin class then today chill-axed and dipped into my mind with a spot of Pilate's. I must say I am feeling very good after having 2 very quiet nights on the weekend and getting active on both days as well.

For anyone who's thinking about joining the gym to get them motivated right now (hands up,who wants to get out of bed at 6am for a run in winter-not me!), I'd really recommend it. Good for the mind, body and if you have a gym within a good radius of your work then I'd suggest you go for the lunchtime workout. Most gyms have shorter classes at lunchtime so you can still do it within your hour. Then you're all set to come back to your desk and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Plus you don't feel bad for having that incy-weensy chocolate bar from the vending machine at 4 o'clock!

...Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are reportedly engaged!

Latest celeb couple (if you can call them celebs)....

OK I nearly fell over backwards when I read this. Before I reveal what 'this' is, you might want to tune out unless you have been glued to Big Brother these past couple of months. Are you ready? OK....Thomas (as in the really tall dude) and Susannah (who supposedly had a boyfriend) are now officially a couple!
I know I couldn't believe it either! It seems that when she got out of the Big Brother house Susannah realised that she couldn't go on with her life. If I remember correctly Thomas was doing some major flirting with Susannah in The House. She didn't want a barr of it though as she was still in love with her boyfriend (who'd she'd been with for 3 weeks before she entered The House).

Her then boyfriend has spoken out about the whole thing "She told those guys to back off because of me, then she gets out and it was all like a little facade,'' he said. Poor guy.

So there you go, I think the lesson is here, if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend DO NOT let them enter The House, it does evil things to their minds!

Bye Bye Good TV

I'm not sure how many of you based your life around Prison Break on a Wednesday night or cleared your calendar on a Thursday night for Heroes? But I, for one did. Not to sound sad or anything but what's a girl to do with low funds, a credit card debt AND hello, have you been outsdie today? It's FREEZING!
My Wednesday and Thursday nights are now offically non TV nights. I mean yes, I could watch those endless episodes of The Simpsons (is anyone else sick of that family yet?)which are pretty funny sometimes I must admit. But it just does not fit the bill that Wentworth or Milo did.

Not to diss The Box too much, I mean last night's Victoria Beckham comes to America special on Channel 9 was truly an event of a different kind... whether you love or loathe her I do not know one person who could stop watching. And let's face it I know you watched it too! Now that's good TV!

So on that note I will be going home tonight to spend some quality time with my boyfriend (who's way better than Wentworth or Milo anyday!)... and crank the heater!

The countdown is on.....

You all know how I get excited about things - right? When I get excited about thing(s) I like to start a countdown. This isn't your average countdown, not like the countdowns you see on myspace or on any mag website. This is The Bella Countdown. I write numbers in my diary and also have a verbal countdown. It usually goes a little something like this: '20 sleeps, 20 sleeps, 12 sleeps, 12 sleeps!!!' where I also jump up and down like a hysteric child in a lollie shop. My boyfriend only knows this form too well.

What I am about to start now is a Blog Countdown. I will countdown to the things I am looking forward to. The first will be:

My Birthday/Party: The 11th of August 2007 (for all of my close friends thinking 'what a bitch she hasn't invited me yet' dont worry I am in the process of getting invites ready as we speak).
How long? 26 sleeps!

AND

Spring: September 1st 2007
How long? 46 sleeps

Rehab, a new album and time to chill

Grinspoon will be releasing their new album next week 'Alibis and Other Lies'.
For those of you who didn't know I LOVE Grinspoon, my boyfriend LOVES Grinspoon and my boyfriend's besties LOVE Grinspoon.

You should have seen me Feebs (my bestie)and I one night at the pub. A random band was playing 'Thrills, Kills & Sunday Pills' and we were the only ones on the d-floor. Loving. It. From what I can remember we were going pretty crazy til my boyfriend and his friends rocked up and we realised that one of the bar tender's had so blatantly spiked our drinks. But that's a while other story..... My point is near...You can imagine what happens at their concerts. The boys go crazy in the mosh pit up the front and I hang up the back and dance like there's no tomorrow. It's sweet as sugar.

Their new album promises to be diverse while still keeping to their rockish-style adding in their taste of poppy tracks (I heart these) and 'even a tinge of country' What the? but for those fans out there who were fans of thier earlier sound, then you'll heart their new album too, 'It offers some of the heaviest songs we've ever done and some of the softer ones'says our boy Phil.

So that's all the fanbase covered but how's our mate Phil doing after he recently joined the Hollywood cult of doing his stint in rehab? 'I'm fine ... really well'.
Grab their new album 'Alibis & Other Lies' next week at all good retailers and if you can't get enough of them still, tune into an interview on Enough Rope with Andrew Denton to air on the ABC on July 23.

Postcards from my new home...

Hey blog-dudes and dudettes,
Now that I'm back from my well-deserved holiday (to tell you the truth I was getting a little bored..but loving spending time with my mummy)it's time to get back into working mode. A new desk, new email address and new group of friends to play with all day; I couldn't be happier. Apart from those first-week-hiccups things are going swimmingly (you know, no computer for 3 days, no phone, me being quiet..).
My office is in the heart of the city just minutes away from Pitt St Mall (v. dangerous!)and minutes from my fave sushi train. What more could a girl want?!?!
Hope you're all well and good. Post me a comment to let me know what you guys have been up to.
And guess what? it's exactly ONE month til my birthday. Even though I am excited I'm a bit sad too. I don't want to turn 22. It just doesn't sound good anymore. 21 was so cool and exciting. But now I'm just sad.....oh well on the bright side, I do have presents to look forward to from my mummy.

A couple of things....

Firstly I wanna know how in God's name did Nicole Richie get pregnant?
I mean don't get me wrong, she's my favourite little ano in Hollywood - but pregnant? How does Size zero cover being able to grow another person inside you. Anyways congrats to her and Joel I hope they'll be very er happy together (aren't they broken up?)?

Don't think this little stunt is going to get her out of going into the slammer either - oh no. The L.A Police Dept has confirmed that if infact she does get sentenced to jail this will not affect anything. What A-holes though - do these people have hearts? Guess not....

Also word on the street has it that if you're in the area of the Northern Beaches this Saturday (7th July). There is a monster garage sale going on! Clothes, books, shoes, jewellery, mags, CD's, hats, tiaras and heaps more but it won't cost you an arm and a leg (maybe just your arm!) So follow the signs to Ruskin Rowe in Avalon (2107) and grab yourself a bargain! Please beware that there is a steep driveway to walk up... consider it your workout for the day!
You may even end up recognising the hostess!
